Mrs. MANJU SETH, a caring pious lady and devoted house wife always held education in high esteem. Though she herself was a student of art and an artist but had scientific temper and a great quest for quality. She always encouraged science and its application for society and had a firm belief that our youth should be properly trained and skilled so that they can innovate and adopt new technologies. |

For the sake of the education for her children and inculcating in them the high values and tradition of Indian culture, she decided to return to India along with her husband, Dr, P.K. Seth after more than three years stay in the United States, in spite of several opportunities in USA for her and Dr. Seth. While Dr. Seth had to go on short or long term assignments overseas, she remained in India with her children, in the interest of their education and development. Incidentally, all her three children and two children of Dr. Seth’s younger brother grew under her affectionate care and pursued science as their career. The influence of science came in the family through her father –in-law late Sri G.P. Seth, who was a Post-Graduate in Agricultural Sciences and a Sugarcane Specialist. |
